Santa at the South Pole
Meanwhile at the North Pole
The elves continue to wonder if the new technology that Bernard and Santa are proposing is something that will work for them.
There is talk at the North Pole that the elves are forming a strike- even the media has caught word that Christmas might be canceled!
Always fake news on TV, thinks Bernard. He knows he needs to act fast or else Christmas could be in jeopardy.
He gets out his laptop and sends Santa a quick note in which he explains that introducing new technology seems to be a very slow process.
Santa's Reply to Bernard
"Dear Elves and Bernard,
Greetings from the South Pole! Today I decided to visit my friends from the south and see how things are going in Antarctica. Did you know it is actually warmer here than in the North Pole? I’m considering relocating… just kidding! I love it at the North Pole.
I really appreciate the way you are handling the elves and the media, don’t worry, this is temporary!
Soon things will be running much smoother and then we will be celebrating with eggnog and fruitcake.
I want you to remember that the elves appreciate your support, and so do I! This is why getting them up to speed on new technology now will keep them sharp on the production line.
We need to speed things up, though!
