Santa's Binge Watching his Favorite Christmas Show

Meanwhile at the North Pole

Bernard, Santa, and the elves all decided that everybody could use more training on the Christmas Resource Planning (XRP) tool - now the only question left was: how are they going to do this?

They already created training videos and handbooks but still the information wasn’t sticking.
The elves seemed to forget everything they had learned from the videos and handbooks.
They spent a lot of time creating the learning materials for each other but Bernard quickly found out that the elves weren’t accessing it very often. Bernard wasn’t sure why, so he went down to visit Sparkles to find out.

“They think the videos are too long and not engaging,” explained Sparkles. “There was also a big update released on the Christmas Resource Planning Solution (XRP) last night so now most of the videos and handbooks aren’t relevant anymore.”
“Besides,” she continued, “Elves keep forgetting what they learn after just a few hours!”

Bernard needed find a solution and fast! He reached out to Santa and waited patiently for an answer.

Santa's Reply to Bernard

Hi Bernard,

It is nice to hear from you. I finally have some time for myself so I went on a Netflix binge of all the Christmas movies that were available. I am considering starting a new series, would you recommend “Orange is the New Christmas Fruit”, or “House of Marshmellows”?
I am pretty behind on the latest series, I think I need to just watch them all- maybe start with “Stranger Gifts”? I’ll keep you in the loop.

It is a really unfortunate coincidence that the XRP would release an update so close to Christmas, I think I might have to leave them some coal in their stockings this year!

This makes sense why the elves have stopped viewing the videos and reading the handbooks. But if they can’t remember what they have learned, we still need to find a way to help them retain that knowledge.

Perhaps we can send some of the elves to trainings done by the XRP provider itself?

Let me know if they have any trainings coming up that we can send some of the elves to.
I need to get back to my show, Netflix is asking - “Are you still watching?”

Love,

Santa
